Open Account Settings from your avatar menu, then select the Security and Login tab.

Select Change next to Password

Your current password is shown masked.

Enter your current and new password

Type your current password, then your new password (at least 8 characters), and confirm it.

Select Confirm change

Your password updates immediately — no need to sign in again.

Forgot your current password entirely? You can’t change it from here — sign out and use Resetting a forgotten password instead.
Your new password must be different from your current one, and needs to be at least 8 characters — slightly stricter than the minimum when you first signed up.
