# Calculator — how much to buy

> Estimate quantities for food, drinks, and supplies based on your guest count.

Not sure how much wine, food, or favors to order? **Calculator** estimates quantities based on your guest counts, so you're not guessing.

<Steps>
  <Step title="Select New item">
    Name it (for example, "Red wine") and choose a unit — kilograms, liters, or pieces.

  <Step title="Choose how it's calculated">
    Base it on adults, children, a specific guest tag, or a custom count — whichever fits.
  </Step>

  <Step title="Review the total">
    Calculator does the math for you based on your current guest list.
