# Guest feed

> A social-style feed where you and your guests can share updates, photos, and polls.

The **guest feed** is a shared, social-media-style feed for your wedding — you post updates, and depending on your settings, guests can post and comment too.

## Posting

Select **New post**, add text and optional photo or video attachments, and select **Post**. You can edit or delete your own posts anytime.

## Creating a poll

Select **Create poll**, write a question, and add a few answer options — great for gathering opinions on music, food, or anything else. Only you (the organizer) can create polls; guests can vote but not create their own.

## Deciding who can post

In your guest settings, choose whether guests can post to the feed themselves, or whether it's read-only for them (you post, they read and vote on polls).

  The feed is a lighter-weight alternative to [Announcements](/guest-experience/announcements) for casual updates — use announcements for anything guests really shouldn't miss, since the feed relies on guests checking in.
