# Posting to the feed

> How to read and post to the couple's guest feed, and vote on their polls.

The **feed** is a shared space for updates about the wedding — think of it like a private social feed just for this event.

## Reading updates

Open the feed from your guest portal to see posts, photos, and polls the couple has shared.

## Posting (if enabled)

Some couples allow guests to post too. If you see a **New post** option:

    Your update appears in the feed for everyone to see.

<Note>
  If you don't see a way to post, the couple has kept the feed read-only for guests — you can still read updates and vote on polls.

## Voting on polls

If the couple posts a poll, select an option to cast your vote. You won't be able to create your own polls — that's reserved for the couple.

## If you're asked to sign in

Posting or voting sometimes requires signing in with your email first, so your contribution is tied to your invitation.
